The property, particularly teh common areas are quite tired. But the hosts were terrific

We have stayed in these condos before, and in the Armstrong building twice. If you get a unit on the south side like this one, the views in the evening are outstanding. Unfortunately, this unit got off to a bad start with us. The cleanliness was terrible. We swept up 3 pans of dust and hair from the floors, there were visible foot prints on the hardwood, streaks of grease on the kitchen counters, dirty cutlery, other people's garbage in the laundry closet garbage and some pink goo in a fridge drawer we had to clean out with lysol wipes. While management offered to send cleaners again the next day, we needed to clean things up immediately ourselves to be comfortable on our first night and cleaners the next day was going to be very inconvenient. There was also a fair amount of disrepair around the unit, the vacuum didn't work, the towel rack in one bath room hanging by a thread, the large lamp in the living room being damaged at is base and very tippy, the lock on the sliding door of the room with the boat book shelf didn't work (I fixed), the mentioned book shelves being unsecured and tippy, a stool also in that room with a broken leg and propped up to look ok and the lint traps in the washer I had to clean out and looked like they hadn't been for ages.Comm's with the mgmt company I'm pretty sure were a bot as the responses seemed canned and insufficient even rude if they were a human.

A great place to stay ….with some recommendations.

We really enjoyed our time in this suite. Our group consisted of myself and my husband and 4 young adults ranging from 16 to 20. The suite has 3 bedrooms (one king, one queen and then a bunk bed with a double on the bottom). The location is fantastic with great views. Close to everything. And within walking distance if you so choose to Invermere’s downtown The space had good flow. We never felt cramped or crowded. The kitchen was well equipped. The dining area fit everyone comfortably. And the bedrooms and bathrooms (one main bathroom and one ensuite bathroom) were well stocked. There are tvs in each room and wifi worked without fail or issue. Living room was comfortable and the extra cozy blankets for movie nights are a great touch. The patio also had a bbq and smoker, which was also a great addition to our stay. There was also a few extra necessities in the fridge and pantry which really came in handy. The provided laundry and dishwasher cleaning pods are another great touch. The train does pass right behind the unit. But we personally did not find it an issue and it had more like a white noise effect in the background. Underground parking was fantastic for us as we came to ski Panorama. Our personal recommendations would be the following: - a new king mattress as this one is excessively soft and very sunken in. -more lighting on the patio for bbq at night. - a dish drying rack with dish scrubbing sponge as an option to not always running the dish washer for small loads. - more towels (maybe 2 per person if staying a week or longer) - better lighting setup in the bunk bedroom. -electrical plug-ins are limited which made charging phone, laptops etc challenging. So maybe providing some extension cords might be a good option. - with capacity for 7 persons, an extra sofa in the living room would be nice for extra seating. - lastly, the visitor parking is very limited (3 spaces max) so off-site parking was inconvenient. We will definitely be back! Cheers!
