Akiskinook was a perfect community for a family lake getaway. We really enjoyed the cottage location, proximity to the lake and peacefulness of the area. We did encounter some issues with the cleanliness upon our arrival. We found that the floor was sandy and we needed to sweep and mop before we could settle in. Additionally, when we went to use the hide-a-bed, the sheets were dirty and we had to wash them ourselves. The rug in the living room was also very dirty, and a bowl we intended to use was dirty. We hope that this will be improved upon for future guests. We really do love the cottage's location and potential, and we hope this feedback will be helpful.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this charming little vacation rental in Akiskinook. The space was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location is unbeatable, nestled among the trees with easy access to the private beach, walking trails, and just a short drive to Invermere. We can’t wait to come back!

The beds were great, the location was perfect for us and we were happy with our stay.
