Location great…cleanliness and maintenance poor. Would not go back…

Easy check-in. Accessible location

It would have been nice to have the grass around the property cut. We had a frisbee and volleyball that we weren't able to do much with. On the other hand, the covered deck was wonderful, especially since it rained most of the weekend. It had lots of comfy seating and blankets to cosey up with outside. The house also had 2 very good seating areas inside, upstairs and downstairs. You might want to bring bottled water - although the water was drinkable, it wasn't very tasty. You're also fairly close to the highway, so there's a bit of traffic noise, but it wasn't unbearable and you don't hear it at all inside the house. The place had excellent parking and was close to everything we needed in Sylvan Lake.

We had a great time! House was lovely and clean.The yard was awesome for our kids to run around and explore. Easy access to Sylvan lake and the town.

The property was not clean and had an odor in the garage and the main kitchen. We arrived at the location and walked into the garage to get to the house. The floor, stairs and mat were dirty with grass and mud. There was an awful smell, which we later found a bag filled with dog poop. We then walk into the house and got hit with a sour milk smell and find a bag of garbage in the pantry, which was the cause of the smell. The main shower was not cleaned, as there was hair in the tub and on top of the soap dispenser.I notified the owner and he blamed the cleaning staff. They offered to send in the cleaning staff the next day, but we already cleaned it up, as we were not going to spend the night with those foul odors. They did not seem to care about us as a customer.Overall this location needs to be cleaned better and requires some general maintenance. I would NOT stay at this location again. The lack of cleanliness and maintenance of the overall property was very disappointing.
