Well, this location was out in the country. The blinds in all room rooms either did not open or would not close completely missing and blind in the bathroom window. I arrived. It was -3 and the furnace had not been running and after four hours, I still found it extremely cold. I brought my dog to be able to play outside only to have a Fox venture out from an outbuilding about an hour after I was there. I also came to realize that the screen door access from ground level did not lock. Therefore I stayed four hours and came home so kind of blew my weekend.

Location great…cleanliness and maintenance poor. Would not go back…

Easy check-in. Accessible location

It would have been nice to have the grass around the property cut. We had a frisbee and volleyball that we weren't able to do much with. On the other hand, the covered deck was wonderful, especially since it rained most of the weekend. It had lots of comfy seating and blankets to cosey up with outside. The house also had 2 very good seating areas inside, upstairs and downstairs. You might want to bring bottled water - although the water was drinkable, it wasn't very tasty. You're also fairly close to the highway, so there's a bit of traffic noise, but it wasn't unbearable and you don't hear it at all inside the house. The place had excellent parking and was close to everything we needed in Sylvan Lake.

We had a great time! House was lovely and clean.The yard was awesome for our kids to run around and explore. Easy access to Sylvan lake and the town.
