The Barracks | Hot Tub | Walk to Beach | Historic

We wanted family vacation by the lake, and around Windermere to also visit some old friends. We were not disappointed, the beach proximity, quiet neighborhood, the historic and beautiful residence was perfect. A few more days could of been on the cards, specilally for the kids. The host were friendly and kind, the rules were simple and well explain. Would be definitely be on my list to do again.

Our family had a fantastic stay at The Barracks last week. The house is spacious, well-equipped, and had plenty of room and beds for everyone to relax and spread out. The kids especially enjoyed the piano, board games, trampoline, and outdoor play structure. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the beach with stunning views of the water and surrounding mountains. The only small disappointment was the absence of an espresso machine, which was mentioned in the listing. That said, we would absolutely recommend The Barracks and would gladly stay here again. Thank you for a memorable getaway!
